...Folly Design is a design build start up founded by two best friends who are both passionate about design, but approach designing in two very different ways. One being an architect and painter and the other being a custom furniture fabricator allows the team to conceptualize design in very different ways. . . . The team wanted their logo to reflect their dichotomous approach to design: whimsical while rooted in simple shapes and straight forward design.
. . . The logo is constructed using a Coolvetica font to highlight their paired back design asthetic coupled with a simple skewed form. To allow the simplicity to shine, the logo color is Wada Sanzo’s Red Orange #e81900.
